BORGO CELANO

This storage tomato from the province of Foggia in Puglia is a saladette-sized tomato with the perfect pointed plum shape. Not our favorite fresh eating tomato, however, it is highly productive, yielding large amounts of meaty and slightly acidic tomatoes that are excellent for sauce or drying.

Plants have regular leaves, like most storage tomatoes; this variety ripens slightly late. Great for locations with a long dry growing season.
